Added a recent posts list to the top of the forum index and forum list pages. let me know if you think its good or not.

added a favorites system, you can mark topics as favorite (link at bottom right of topic page) then you can goto your favorites page, from the top menu forum bar. Favorites

Added 22 new "site promo banners" to the rotation. all highlighting different parts of the site.

I re-organised the main menu on the left side of the front-site. Condensed it a bit.

I also moved the search box to the top of the site above the recent forum posts.

As well I removed some of the blocks when a visitor is not logged in. Like the sports scores and forum surveys. And guests don't see as many news links on the front-page now.

yah its nice, just a 25 * 1 pixel image repeated horizontaly, so very small image to load, not even noticable.

I decided to remake the menu on the main front of the site. Its no longer the javascript tree menu.

Its now a faster, lighter CSS dropout menu like the black horizontal menu at the top of the site.

I changed some of the links around in the menu and added some.

are the dropouts working on the new main menu for Internet Explorer uses? All of a sudden they arn't working for me, I can't figure it out. I built it in IE, it works in firefox fine.

Only thing I changed is I installed the Beta3 of IE7. But its not working now from my gf's computer as well, and hers has IE6.

well i just did a little hack that will be pretty useful.

for forum post attachments that are less than 700pixels in width no thumbnail will be created. SO a crappy stretech thumnail no longer will be shown for small images. and animated images will work.

large images still create a thumnial, which if click display the full size image.

just realised that since i re-arranged the front-page the "Site Voting" block is gone. So its back in the bottom right of the front-page.
