I SO WISH I had seen this forum Before Canada Day! I would have entered! I made a digital scrapbooking kit for Canada Day, does that count? I'll show you the previews:
Don't mind the SAS thing, that's where I sell my stuff.
Pages made with this kit are in the forum "IntroduceYourself" and I'm the G'Day one!
Im an ex-pat whose dream is to move back home!

unfortunately the Canada Day contest was an utter failure, i'm rather disapointed... of well I will try again next year. I got almost no entries into any of the contests. I guess i should have promoted it more, i did have it link in big bold letters on the CKA shop and bloggingcanadians and the Canadian Hottie faceboko app, this topic has over 1,149 views but no submissions.
Not even to the Canada Day photo contest, which is easy. In past years like back in 2003 when the site recieved less traffic there was dozens of photo submissions.
The Canada Day Photo contest is sitll open for another week though. And I will give away a couple t-shirts for late submissions or maybe a couple to members who have contributed a lot to the site this year.

I think the problem was... people saw how cute my pic was and just knew they couldn't possibly top it. So for that... I'm sorry.

I was going to take a few pictures of the parade we had here, but instead of being on the hose beds on one of the fire trucks, I ended up driving Rescue.
I also wanted to get some fireworks pictures, but they had the fireworks on Monday night, and I was at work then.

Don't 'write us off yet' Trev. The contest still goes for 3 more days. Like so many others, I felt I needed a photo that either was taken on Canada day or one that showed how myself or others chose to celebrate Canada Day. Since I only got back late last night I am only now posting a few pics. Maybe my pics don't even qualify and that's ok too. I'm going to share them with all of you anyway!

Would the 'real' Yogi please stand up!
This is how we celebrated the Canada Day afternoon.
The fishing was good, the company was great, and the weather was excellent!

Trev...
If you keep the Article spot open, I'll write a long piece on my 14-hour-long Canada Day Pride-Filled experience in Medicine Hat... Including the msot amazing Fireworks show I have ever seen... (Medicine Hat has the Best Canada Day Fireworks show in the West... This year I think it was contesting Ottawa and Toronto.)
And believe me, I have pictures coming. They'll be up before the 5th.
My video idea was cancelled because idea's ran short on what to "talk about" in front of the camera.
I'm sorry about the failure of the contest. This surprises me, I expected more submissions as well.
I hope everyoen had a Happy Canada Day, by the way, pictures or not.

This is Canada Day. Not Separatist-Bitch Day. Get the hell out of here.
