About a foot here on the mainland until the wind and sun took a few inches away today. Luckily I got home from Tatamagouche just as it was starting to stick at the top of Folly. I hear west of Moncton was hit pretty hard as well.

It's too bad for all the services... the cancellation list on the radio this morning was about five minutes long!

I got about 25 cms here. I threw my summer tires on the car a few days ago. I had to take my mom's car instead of mine to get to work. Surpisingly the Zoo had some visiters today.

You poor dear. I feel your pain. Why just yesterday I had to put on shorts and drive with the window rolled down!

It was horrible.

Where I live we didn't get that much. Although the wind has been a killer. I have been working outside in it all week. It just burns the face.

Remember I'm in chinook country. 100 kmh winds are just a breeze.

One thing I notice about digital cams and snowstorms,i tried getting pics of the blizzards last month in NU and the cam never really picks up all the blowing snow for some reason, most pics came out looking like it was barely snowing even though visibility was down to allmost nil. Video was better but I wanted to show what it was really like and didnt get many good shots for proof. strange 8)

I know where you are coming from Fatbastard.

As a former resident of Kent county, New Brunswick, I know what you are talking about.
I remember those days in April and even May when you would see snow on the ground.
My parents always remind me of it when I talk to them every week.

Don't worry, the snow will go, summer will come, and I will be down there again to enjoy another summer of good ole martime salt air, good fish, family and relaxation.
