There are no rails left in Newfieland.....btw...those railway ties make real good retaining walls for your driveway  ....and old railway tracks make awesome skidoo trails.

I know there is no "bullet" anymore.I have taken a few trips on the train when it was running.

Sad the trains have been taken off,but with a narrow gauge rail, and weather conditions topography"Gaff Topsails" it was really difficult, and time consuming to get across the island.

Oh yeah "Wreck House" where the winds would blow the trains off the track.

All just memories,and stories now.

Ahhh the wreck house......where the tractor trailers have to line up side by side so when one starts to blow over it bumps into the next one.....does tend to get a tad bit windy out that way.....beautiful spot though....traveled that way many many times.

Dam I miss the ocean.
