with the offshoot site www.canadianhottie.ca now in place with its own forums dedicated to "babes" and this type of more adult oriented male content I wonder if this Babes forum here on CKA should remain.

comments?

at the very least I think i will exclude topics in this forum from the recent topics list. making it a goto forum, will prevent people that don't want to view this type of content from accidentaly viewing it from the recent topics list.

i agree with what you have to say except for the obvious error in describing it as
Quote:
adult oriented male content
when you clearly meant to say adult content.

That sounds fine. The topics don't bother me... I don't have to click on them if I don't want to. The only ones I don't like are the ones that proclaim the model is a hot teen with a tight body!!!

That seems creepy, especially when it's the guys in their 30s and 40s that drool over them. I mean... it's one thing if Tricks, Arctic Menace and Mr Canada are turned on, as they're the same age.
Is 18 still not a teen though? ;) I have actually always wondered that... 8O

I know, but if 18 when you are considered an adult, can yuo be a teen and an adult at the same time? :|

Yes, 18 and even 19 are considered teens.

Still - it's creepy when a guy in his mid to late 30s (never mind older) is drooling over someone that young.

Or maybe it's just me.
True true..

i vote no because what's the point of having a thread here if there is a forum there?
if someone wants to post in that thread, they can go over to that site, IMO.
is the forum there catching on?

The babes forum is a form of expression. No freedoms should be stifled particularily at the alter of political correctness.

so we should have a thread promoting the adoption of sharia law complete with vids of beheadings?

i don't think it has to do with PC, neccesarily. i think it has more to do with tastefulness, and putting things of the same kind together.

That, and the fact that we do have members who are legal minors.

This is an adult site and I see no problem in posting beheadings, pro/anti religious or pro/anti abortion pictures so long as they are legal. My judgement of what is in good taste is no better then yours. Let freedom of expression be real rather then just an expression itself.

So do porn sites. It is the responsibility of the minors guardian to control what they observe or consume and not CKA's.

Honestly, some of the conversations we have on a regular basis could be much more damaging than some pictures of girls.

There's not much chance of making this a "child safe" site.

as far as i'm aware it's an all ages site, and the canadianhotties site is adults only.
i just couldn't help myself but to put in a dig.

porn sites also have warnings re. content, whereas CKA doesn't.

i voted no out of sheer practicality

now that i think of it, i don't think canadianhotties has a page for "if you are 18, enter here.
i agree with you, BN, but as far as i'm concerned, kids today have just as foul a mouth than the rest of us that post here.
