I took a walk down by the Fraser today, the path was closed and I could hear a chainsaw working. Seems like an old Cottonwood tree decided to pack it in.....ouch

I went back there today it looks like 3 Cottonwoods in a bunch just decided to fall over, the roots and everything are right there. Other than that, it looks like spring has sprung. The lilacs (I think) are starting to bloom.

What would anyone do with Cottonwood, as far as I know it's not useful for anything.

It drops all that crap that makes it look like it's snowing in the spring! For weeks, you can pick that shit out of your air filter in the car, BBQ, etc.

It's good for that!

Much to my surprise, we have a huge leaf coming out of our banana tree in the garden. Everything is blooming. Even the Kiwi has leaves on it!
