Taking responsibility involves more than paying the fine. You paid the fine because you knew you didn't have a chance of proving you were not guilty or you were too lazy to fight the ticket. A convict who goes before a parole board and says "Yeah I've feel I've taken responsibility for my actions because I've been in jail" would have zero chance of being parolled because they have, in fact, shown that, in the absence of punishment, they would not be accepting any responsibility for their actions. This is what you are doing here. You've come into a public forum and say you've accepted responsibility because you're complying with the punishment set out by law, which applies to everyone, yet on the other hand you title the thread saying ICBC and the police are really the ones to blame, showing you're taking no responsibility for your actions at all. Maybe you should be posting on Babble or some other board that likes to rage against the machine just for the sake of raging and make people think they aren't responsible for their individual actions, but brother you've come to the wrong place for anarchy if you think you're going to find it here.
