I dunno if this is the norm for the rest of the country, but this is the first time I have ever seen gas prices this high.

Yay! First to start new forum. :D

But according to a federal commision on oil companies there is no price fix.
Even though the price seems togo up on weekends and holidays.
Or maybe it has todo with the 43% of the price that is taxes.

Sorry I'm about to piss you all off, but I live in Abbotsford and it's still 78.9 here. So with the stupid 3.5 cents off thing they do, it's 75.6.

Here in England a litre of unleaded is currently 84.9p. Thats about $1.95 Canadian so don't fret too much about BC prices - it could be so much worse!

Yes, scary prices ... $105.9 - 104.7

And I drive an AWD GMC Safari - or a V12 Jag ... take a guess at my gas prices :p

Canadaka ... you live by Brentwood? On Saturday I went to Point Roberts and got my fill for $82.9CDN ... or since you live closer to HWY 1 already, take a ride to before Aldergrove for mid $80s or TO Aldergrove for mid $70 price :)

Before leaving to Mexico, the gas station right across from the hotel was at 96.9, return in one week, turn to my brother and say "Why does that gas sign say '05.9'?" It's like computer in the year 2000, when originally built, they didn't have enough room to roll over the numbers. In penticton here it is still 97.9 I think. I gassed up 2 days ago. Oh well, my car only takes like 22 litres every 6 days or so.
