I'm not sure I'm happy about that; guess I'm glad I don't live on the mainland that might make some difference.

The building of stadiums is a long & costly process that costs the tax dollars hordes of $ and rarely is worthwhile. If you want an idea, do a bit of research on the current situation for the Montreal olympic stadium (From 1976) they are still paying it off, its supposed to be completely paid off by next year (2006) 30 yrs later, and the last I heard they were contemplating tearing it down because nobody can afford the monstrous sized tax properties for the thing & the land plot its on.
