For Vancouverites and dwellers of the Lower Mainland, there is going to be a benefit at the Cecil on December 14th 2008 3pm - 12am. All benefits are going to Twyla Newton's orphaned children, Twyla passed away on Nov. 6th from a battle with brain cancer. It is going to be a crazy fun night....

The Cecil in Calgary sucks, it's full of Natives and Crackheads, although you didn't come of age in Calgary unless it was on your list for your 18th birthday.

I think some strippers here tried to orginize a thing for breast cancer once but there was all sorts of out rage expressed by a bunch of womens groups. It was kind of sad really.

Anyways, as for the Cecil I sure hope it isn't anything like the one here in Calgary but it does sound like a fun event.
