What sort of transit improvements do you want to see on Vancouver's public transportation system?


please no negative posts, lets keep this purely as a place to give out ideas for possible improvements or to discuss upcoming public transit projects in Metro Vancouver




as for myself, i cant wait till they install the new fare gates at skytrain stations.

It might be a good idea to introduce Express buses on big streets like Main, Fraser, Cambie etc; How about bringing back the street car and even local trains. Only efficient public transit can motivate people to leave their cars at home and use public transit.

In a modern city, it's ridiculous that SkyTrain stops running so early. On a Friday and Saturday night downtown it stops before the bars are even closed, which forces people to stay downtown or try to drive home.
