A nice article about why to stock gold.

http://www.newsweek.com/id/188138

I have always wanted to buy gold. I think it's a little to late at 1000$/oz but who knows what happens.

I love the fact that it is Apocalyps-proof :-)
The guy in the article bought 100oz for 100,000$. It's the size of a Hershey chocolate bar. Quite easy to pack and store.

I'm beginning to trade stock options.
I'm practicing with gold. I bought 5 options of April 95$ GLD (a trust trying to follow the price of gold divided 10) at 1.75$. We will see what happens !

If I make money with that, I will buy real gold and laugh at my friends 8)

In 1973, Dad was buying gold and silver- in small amounts and advised me to do the same. Gold was $37.00/oz. Instead, I invested in whiskey & beer & women!!! :( :( :(

I remember that,Wasnt silver about $4.00?
I love gold and have had the fever all my life.I even got a BC free miners certificate way back when so I could pan for gold at perry creek, north of Cranbrook and I could stake claims.
I had a part of the buzzard and bones claim on same creek.
The waterwheel at fort steele was on that creek, nice placer gold there. [drool]
