There is a skilled worker program and information is available at the website mentioned above.

You might consider attending a Canadian university. It sounds like this will earn you points toward your application. Also, most student visas permit you to work part-time, which may get your foot in someone's door.

Consider also a NAFTA visa. That how I came to the U.S. The list of professions is more restricted, but the visa is quick to get, and renewable for 6(?) years.

Anything in the medical field, doctors, pharmacist and nurses etc. Those are on the priority list for getting fast tracked in
