This might be the wrong category, but:
The Ontario Government is thinking of looking abroad for it's future nuclear energy needs !Of course tendering bids is how free markets can offer Buyers their best value. But when it comes to supporting Canadian Industry and Technology, shouldn't the building of future nuclear energy capacity be a subject that garners support for "Made in Canada" ? Especially considering how much public money/investment has gone into developing this world-class technology to begin with ?
In the name of future development, and protecting our Public/Social interests, I think we should support our investment in CANADIAN nuclear technology, both now and in the future !
What do all of you think of this homegrown issue ?

Westinghouse is now owned by Toshiba, but it's still an American institution ( esp. Since George Westinghouse was the Industrialist who supported Tesla's AC system that we all use today..Rather than Edison's DC system)?
