Phew, I thought I was the only one having that problem - I was many people today according to the Good morning/afternoon thingy but when I clicked on my messages and when I post, it's still me

Refreshing the front page a few times seem to do the trick though

Do you stay logged in or do you log out when you leave the site?

I always stay logged in - although it says I was logged out a few times while refreshing the page, but I was really logged in

I've had that also but never been logged in as someone else.
When it does log me out I use an old shortcut to get to the log in page cuz the other one doesnt allways work.

i'm still working on the caching module. I'm getting some help in creating a custom cache module to work with the new IIS7. You arn't actually logged in as another user, it just that particular page is cached wrong. It should be sorted out soon. Right now I have no Output caching in the forums.

You dont need to logout, just goto another page and you will see you are logged in as yourself.

I have disabled something in PHP's configuration called "Magic Quotes" qhich i've always had enabled. This is bad practice for over 5 years now, the only reason i had it enabled is because i had some old scripts that relied on it and I know some of my old sloppy code might break if it were disabled.

But i have disabled it now, because it is a security and performance problem. But some things, mostly submitting of things, might break. So if youi find a problem on the site, like you can't submit a link or picture, something like that, please let me know.

Um... For quite a long time now, I have been unable to change my "About Me". I am missing sections to edit for some strange reason. For example, I don't have the option to toggle the visibility of the parties I've joined (I'm in NDP)

I didn't report this simply because I assumed someone else would have by now.

I use Firefox, by the way. I'm trying to test it in Internet Explorer... But it is being painfully slow, the reason I quit IE in the first place...
