Went to comment on a story on the front page this am and got this several times Attachment:

Had to hit post 3 times and even when it said "comment posted" I still got the error

the above error shouldn't show up anymore. The error was not preventing your comment from being posted though.
I think i also fixed the annoying back slashes in forum topic names from the news links. I also removed all the existing back slashes in topics from the past few months.

I have been working all day updating a bunch of the old old code throughout the site, which is causing stuff to break that isn't updated.
So any bug reports will be helpful, I will have to do a scan of the entire site. I just finished the quotes section.

sorry for the site being mostly dead for the last 2 hours, the database server is having issues today for some reason. MySQl keeps crashing over and over.

Recently I started getting that "?sid=7ea90e577fadaf5d13e8966028e5bddf" at the end of the address line whenever I click on the "View your posts" link.
It's been kinda screwy for the last few weeks - opens up blank the first time, but if I go back and click it again, it works. I'm not sure if that's an issue at my end or not.

looks like the posts database table crashed again, so i had to shutdown the site for 40min to do a full repair. Its fixed now.

When I try to upload an image from my comp (definitely within size requirements), the filename doesn't appear in the field after it has been selected.
