My grandfather had a tattoo from either his sailing or FFL days. If I can ever find a pic of that I might get it done. It was a skull with a dagger in it and a snake twined around it.

DMP just know that black is a deeper colour and it will sting a little more usually for the outline. Anything right over bone or places like the inside of your arm or leg will also sting a bit more. I just listen to the gun and zone out aside from a slight burning sensation it is all good. Take your time and find a good artist look at their work and try and talk to some of their clients. I will see what I can find out about the guys in your area.

Thanks Richard. Actually my friend got his tattoo in town here and actually, all the people I know have gone to this one guy, been in town for like 12 years. Called Sun City tattoos. Runs a really clean safe place. My friend really likes his tattoo, being Irish he got a 4 leaf clover inside a box made of tied together branches. It looks good.

A cousin of mine got a Canadian flag. But instead of the maple leaf his has a clover to represent our family's Irish Heritage. It's all red and white and it's been done on his upper arm.
I tried to find something close to it on the web to show as an example..but no luck.
Anyhow, it looks really sharp.

Seems like the standard, just a flag on my right arm, a little above where a short sleeve sits. Want to get a second one, on my other arm, a poppy, with "Lest we forget" under it, scripted. Think it would be a nice tribute, n'est pas?
