lily lily:
I'm sure I've seen a JRoc here before... yet this one has only 1 post?

I even remember a pic (avatar?) of a biker-looking guy with longish hair and a beard.

Or maybe it's just late.

I remember too...spooky... ;)

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Canada has the Most Creepy Patriot!

:D

And Tricks, we were known as Canada.

Since the 1400's we were known as Canada. :D

Back then, specificlaly, "the Canadas" (Lower and Upper Canada)

But no, we were not a country... :( Which would have added to the enjoyment of the use of 1812 as an insult for Newbie Patriots. :P
We were not a country. Period.

Never been here before. JRoc is from the TV Show Trailer Park Boys. JayRock sounds like an Eminem wanna be, although ironically that's the exact character JRoc plays on Trailer Park Boys. BTW, a great show.

I said that. I didn't imply that we were.

Yet we were still known as Canada. Everything above the St. Lawrence River.

We were a British Colony. We may have had that name, but we can't say that anything that happened before 1867 happened to Canada.

No, it didn't. We were not a nation. It happened in a British colony.

....That became the great nation of Canada.

It's like saying the stuff the 13 Colonies did had nothing to do with America.

It didn't. They were not americans. Just like those living in the Upper and Lower Canada were not Canadians. It was British land. They were all british. Except for the french

Yet it's still part of American History.

What was before the country is important. It was the very thing that became what it eventually became.

You are basically saying that The wheel has nothing to do with the car anymore because the car was created from it.

No no no, I am saying that when that that that did not happen to Canadians. People who say that "We burnt down the white house" are morons. We didn't. The british did. They say that as a sense of pride, when they didn't even do it. Previous history is important, but they were NOT Canadian.

No, it happened in lower Canada. Still not Canada. I hate it when people try to make Canada look better by saying they did things that they didn't. It's retarded.
