Sir Grinch.

Speaking of stars on trees (sorta...), I'm looking for suggestions for rigging up a goal light for our hockey tree. We had a complete Oil/'Nuck/Storm tree last year, and it was 100% hockey except for...the star. I've been keeping an eye out all year, but have yet to come up with anything that looks like it would work. I can use the wiring from the star, of course, just looking for a way to construct a goal light.

Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! :D

Not quite understanding what you mean by 'goal light', Rosie, so I'll give it a go anyway.
Dollar Store-plastic puck with your team logo-drill it, wire some lights into it;

Using wire coat hanger- shape it into the frame of a miniature goal net-wrap it with netting from an old fish net, runn mini lights as required.

Never done either of these before so I'm just guessing! [B-o]

You know. The big red one that lights up when a team scores. :D I just need the red part though.

The net isn't a bad idea either though.. 8O

Decisions, decisions..... :lol:

Hmmm...wonder if an automotive store would have some sort of light cover that could be rigged? [huh]

I'm pretty darn sure you'll find something that will work at Princess Auto.

I think that's the ONLY place I haven't looked! I usually just head straight to the grinder/sausage suffer/meat mixer aisle, and drool til Q finds me and drags me out. :lol:
I'll definitely check them out! Thanks, Yog!! [BB]

8O Ain't touchin' none of the rest of what's goin' on here... That's between them and the big guy. [door]

And I'll never tell, anyway. :lol:
