Breaking news on multiple outlets. Earlier today four US servicemen were shot and two of them were killed near the airport in Frankfurt, Germany by a 21 year old Muslim gunman from Kosovo who shouted, "Allahu akbar!" as he opened fire. German police say the motive for the attack is 'unclear'.

Yea, the cops in Germany are as frightened of admitting motives of Jihadis' as the RCMP on the Toronto 18. Quote: "Some are students, some are employed, some are unemployed," RCMP Assistant Commissioner Mike McDonell said Saturday. "They're all residents of Canada and for the most part, they're all citizens," he said. "They represent the broad strata of our community." http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/story/200 ... eople.htmlThe broad strata of our community that wants to kill us because we 'aint Jihadis. What a load of wimps we are.

He was reportedly armed with an automatic weapon and a knife.

Most muslims are good people bart, but there are a select few that are fucking nutbars. If America were a little bit more lawless I bet you'd see some fundamentalist christians running around shooting gays, US servicemen, etc. all while saying they are doing "God's work"

I get what you mean, but if Germany was more lawfull then US, then in theory this shouldn't have happened. However, the problem is said muslim is from Kosovo, and grew up in an era where violence was the norm. So naturally he'd be more inclined to carry out violent actions over his beliefs. Fundamentalists Christians, on the other hand, while of extremist opinions and in a gun-liberal country, grew up and were raised in a civil society, and as such are much less likely to cause violence in support of their faith, as we have seen so far. Doesn't stop them from celebrating the results of said violence, however.

More than likely this a German resident, and I'll go for being radicalized in a German mosque, they have the same problems as the British do. If the automatic weapon bit I posted above is true: Getting an automatic weapon in Germany would be damn near impossible, in Kosovo they probably have down the local smoke shop. So, once again everyone will say one nut on his own....... sure, right.

Were Fred Phelps and his lot to start shooting gays, prostitutes, Communists, and anyone else then there's plenty more Christians who'd not hesitate to introduce Mr. Phelps to a wrathful God. Most fundamentalist Christians don't want anyone to be killed, they want them to repent of their sins. To some degree, that's what Phelps wants, too, but he goes about it in such a way that I'm surprised he's lived so long.

martin14 wrote: Getting an automatic weapon in Germany would be damn near impossible Germany and Mexico have much in common that in both countries semi-autos are all but banned so the black market trades in far more accessible full-automatic weapons. An acquaintance of mine in San Diego tells me he'd have to wait seven days to buy a semi-auto with a 10 round clip in accordance with state law or he can go down his street and buy a full auto Ingrams right now. In short, semi-autos are made for the legal, civilian arms market. If you can't buy a semi-auto then the black market will provide you with a full auto. It's the nature of the beast.

I don't mind the correction at all, those are actually the ones I had in mind while writing the post. And for the record, I never said that Germany was lawless compared to USA. My post was about the shooter originating from Kosovo.

Oh, and the 'nutbar' Muslim number according to a couple of Muslim-produced studies I've read is around 30%. That's composed of about 1%-5% of young Muslim men willing to die for jihad and then some 25%-29% of Muslims who are willing to support these mutts in some fashion.
Even with just 1% willing to go on the warpath that's 15 million people and that's not something to ignore.

http://www.aolnews.com/story/2-us-airme ... t/1628775/APNewsBreak: Shooter allegedly a German MuslimQuote: MITROVICA, Kosovo -The gunman suspected of killing U.S. airmen outside Frankfurt airport is a German-born devout Muslim who works at the airport, according his uncle.
In an interview with The Associated Press in Kosovo, 70-year-old Rexhep Uka said the suspected gunman — Arid Uka — was born and raised in Germany after his parents moved there from Kosovo about 40 years ago.
The uncle says Arid is a pious Muslim whose grandfather was a religious leader at a mosque in the village of Zhabar, near Mitrovica, Kosovo.
Murat Uka, who identified himself as the alleged shooter's father, says the only thing he knew about his son was that he hadn't turned up at work on Wednesday.
The Frankfurt airport refused to comment on whether the suspect worked there.
