While brutal things happened during the war and atrocities were committed, it reinforces the idea that there were still humane individuals who 'played' by the rules.

The POW camps run by the Luftwaffe were usually run properly, with the prisoners being treated according to the rules laid down by the Geneva Convention. It was in the camps being run by the SS where most atrocities were committed.

Why not?? I've heard the Typhoons and P-47's were shooting the hell out of any and all armoured vehicles in sight, whether they were German or Allied,,,,Panzers, Churchills, Shermans, it didn't seem to matter, if it was an armoured vehicle it was a target!

Yeah, had some of that nonsense in GW1, too. Too many tankers couldn't tell the difference between a BMP and a Bradley or an LAV.
