It's too dificult to make out which roundel it is; if not Canadian then it would have to be Australian or New Zeland. I'm guessing it's Australian
I had to enlist some help to get this "easy id"
This is a De Havilland Vampire T.11 in the markings of No. 2 Squadron of the Rhodesian Air Force, which operated either 12 or 16 of the type, depending on which source you check. The T.11 was a two-seat, side-by-side trainer; Canada only used the single-seat fighter versions of the Vampire, not the trainer.
