The picture is backward!!!

The extendable arm, coaxial MG and access hatch are on the wrong side.

Cigarette butt? Or a bug? Yum, extra protein.

OK, try this one too. I apologize for the crappy pic. I "never was" any kind of a photographer.

Right on Fred! Kingfisher OS2U-3 manufactured by Vought.

The plane was a two seater and in common use with the USN. It did however, have a serious lack of power. It had long legs and was useful looking for downed fliers. Eddie Rickenbacker was rescued by one of these when the B-17 in which he was a passenger was shot down. The Kingfisher taxied for over 40 miles in rough seas with the survivors of the B-17 hanging on to the wings.

Sapper is that the Iowa class battel ship (USS New Jerssy, USS Iowa, USS Missurri, & one more that I can't remember)

A hull shot would have been a bit better

Nope, look closer. It's a crappy pic but usable. I did provide a lead.
And yes, Mario, it is WWII era. Again, sorry for the quality.

The only WW II battle ship that I can think that "never was" was the USS Kentucky & the USS Illonois (both are of the Iowa Class Battle Ship) Niether never left the ship yard and were never finished. Also Niether fit the profile of the hull shot

SprCForr -- I'll have to look through some deck plans, because that is one the "never builts". The 4 gun turrets make it a cruiser and the hull flare makes it American.

Mario -- That is a Canadair CL-84 Dynavert Tilt Wing

Actually, I'll go with dwaters on the ship. It's a Montana BB. Program was cancelled in 1943 and the ships were never completed.
