The fire selector switch is suposed to be the same. SAFE, Repetion & AUTO. 3rnd burst is useless.

Just had another look at the Diemaco site. It says it is being offered as an option. Whew! I thought we were going Yank for a minute there!

Do most soldiers generally prefer 3-round/semi-auto function as opposed to full auto/semi-auto rifles...?

Semi-auto under most circumstances. Full auto during a CQB overrun. 3 round burst is a waste of two rounds.

I'm back... Its the MAKO from EADS

For the Updated C7A2... I like it, all the same features as the old one, but much, much better and stronger optical zoom. Canada never had the 3 round burst and still don't.

And the Tank looks like the M1 abraham. or the Merkava III.

Aha.. so it's another "never was". I don't believe EADS has even produced a prototype yet.

The tank was a SABRA.... Israeli Defence Force.

People's Liberation Army Air Force Chengdu J-10.

I like the C7A2 upgrades too, but apparantly there has been alot of reports in the field complaining about it being muzzle heavy. To compensate for this, Diemaco has fielded a version with shorter barrel. This version makes it look very similiar to the C8, except with slightly longer barrel.

I say lose the CADPAT, has no real use in any terrain other than jungle.

THe J-10 is a carbon copy of the LAVI.

I was told that the shorter barrel has no significant reduction in precision.

You're turn Nate...

:?: :?: :?:

F-16 is American,
The Lavi was built from an F-16 frame by Israel.
The J-10 has Canard Wings.

And to the best of my knowledge, the Russian had nothing looking like the F-16. The russians have a very unique look for their fighters.

Should be an easy one I think...

The new C7A2 is a cross between long-barrel C7 and carbine C8. It's actually a smart idea to combine a longer barrel in a C8-frame. What the U.S. Army is doing right now is taking away M-16s from their front-line units and replacing them with M4s. This is great for compactness in urban areas such as Baghdad, but there is a little bit of a loss in terms of effective range. The C7A2 offers the best of both worlds.

Here's a pic.
