I don't know how many of you vets read the Rhumb Lines from US Navy CHINFO - but a pal of mine had me go look at recent Rhumb Lines and there's some pretty interesting stuff to behold. In short, since November 30th the US Navy has gone from have a typical 20 attack subs on patrol to now 34 on patrol - with nine of those heading to sea just over this past weekend.

Note that there are no exercises laid on.
