That's probably the reason the US would wind up intervening...oil prices like that would make this recession even worse than the Great Depression was, although it might spur us to develop alternative energy sources.

True enough, but a short term thing I would hope.

Still, not easy to see.. airforces ok, navy battles no problems, but unless
they agree to meet in Iraq and settle it there, cant see an amphibious invasion
by either side... I don't think either army is good enough for that.

Might be funny as hell to watch though.


If they can't solve this issue, yes then we will see oil and gold really through the roof.

Time to buy 3-4 acres and start the garden....
