Screw Wal-Mart. I have not set foot in a Wal Mart for two years now and will NEVER return. Their union busting in Canada and their disgusting money-grubbing at the feet of the oppressors of the people of China makes me sick.

I cannot justify saving a few dollars at the expense of Chinese lives.

yeah COSTCO! They have one where my mom lives and I love going there....wish they had one here....

I try not to shop at Walmart (even though my uncle works for them) cuz they do screw us....anything to make a dollar.

Newsweek had an article about them recently and their use of products from China--I don't know the figures but it was astounding.

I wonder if a boycott would work....don't shop at Walmart!

Totally agree with you on that one Simpson. Wal-Mart is the embodiment of the best and worst aspects of capitalism.

Wow, I actually found a reason to shop at Costco.

I try to shop there as much as possible, the prices are generally good, the quality great, and I get 2% back at the end of the year.
I buy my computers, eyeglasses, etc there. I`m glad I am supporting them.

p.s. you know what pisses me of, I am presently an Autonomus Worker (un-employed), and I went to the Metro (grocery Chain) web site (check it out http://www.metro.ca/Home.asp?edir=clien ... ccueil.asp. They have a jobs or career section in french but the tab does not even appear in English. I called them about it, and they said that they employees must speak french, so if they can`t find the tab, too bad. That was the last time anyone in my family walked into their store. Disgracefull, Check it out
