On AM 770 - The Rutherford Show, Bob Rae claims that:

1. Michael Ignatieff never said he supported the coalition.

2. Michael Ignatieff never signed any agreement in regards to a coalition.

Is it just me or does anyone else see the slime dripping off of Rae when you see him?

Aerosmith was into Heroine, but you are probably correct. j/k

In some ways, this doesn't 'peel the paint inside my brain' because its somewhat irelavant what Bob Rae believes.

We should have all formed an opinion on this issue, and I doubt that it is going to change by Rae saying "No......"

Bob Rae knows facts as well as John McCallum knows what kind of car he drives.
All of them are quite happy twisting the truth to suit them.
Hell.. Look at their leader. He's promising to cut the deficit and bread and circusses for all. It's a party based on lies.

Not sure about #1, but I do recall him being rather vague and not wanting to appear too stuck on the idea.

I'm pretty sure #2 is correct. It was Dion who Signed agreements with the Coalition.

The Conservatives ARE running the country. It's the Liberals that want to force an election. With no real issue to boot. So who is putting their ego ahead of Canadians?

That argument is rather stupid, but seems par for the course. Everyone wants to blame everyone else for causing the Election. I don't care who "caused" it and I don't think most Canadians do either. Certainly few people actually want one, but the only real world affect of that is going to be a lack of Participation and not what decides who gets voted for.

That audio clip is frightening. The man refuses to accept his party had any part in that even though it's a proven fact.

The Grits need to hide their love child..

The fact is Harper has a minority government and is currently in power. Thus only the opposition can bring him down. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

1) Vague(ish). Like I said, he wasn't all giddy about it like Dion.

2) That's not the same thing as the Coalition Agreement. That's a signed statement regarding the Lack of Confidence and would have been intended to prevent Harper from Proroguing.
