I hate Rae because I couldn't get a job due to employment equity.

There's massive employment equity in the federal civil service, and they are under the conservatives.

CUPE's too big for any government to pick a fight with, especially considering that they'd immediately start shrieking 'racism! sexism! homophobia!' if anyone criticized their hiring practices. Tories didn't get a Mulroney-sized majority to play with, so going to battle when it'd be so strategically and tactically impossible would make a scrap with CUPE far too Pyrrhic to be worthwhile.

Excuses, excuses. Ray + employment equity = end times. Harper + employment equity = business as usual, no problems here.

And if Harper picked a major fight with CUPE over this issue it'd feed right into all that "hidden fascist agenda" bullshit you types are still addicted too. I LOL at thee!

He fucked everyone. As 'Brock said, he was instrumental in shutting doors to any employment opportunities I was pursuing at the time being a white Anglo Saxon male. Mind you, he did a good service by causing me to start my own business.

Screwing over public service after giving them the moon was the act of a totally inept provincial leader. I don't "hate" Rea, but to see him as the Leader of any political party.........

Its a shame I cannot eat spicy foods and that therefore puts curry on my cannot eat list otherwise we could have a nice hugging friendly debate there. It looks like a fun thread.
