Lucien Bouchard is now in hot water:

Schreiber promises surprising details at next inquiry
Jack Aubry, Canwest News Service Published: Monday, February 25, 2008

OTTAWA -- Karlheinz Schreiber says there was "political interference" in the $1.7-billion Airbus deal with Air Canada in 1988 but he is saving the details for the upcoming federal public inquiry called by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

At what is widely expected to be the end of the Commons ethics committee's sessions looking into his cash dealings with former prime minister Brian Mulroney, Schreiber also dropped the name of Lucien Bouchard into the mix, saying he met the former Quebec cabinet minister in Paris about "this Airbus business" when he was the Canadian ambassador to France.

While being questioned by NDP MP Pat Martin, Schreiber acknowledged that 13 out of 15 directors on Air Canada's board were fired to make way for Conservatives, including former Newfoundland premier Frank Moores.

"Political interference. Sure. It was more complicated than you think, though, how the whole thing was done," he told Martin at one point, adding that MPs would have to wait for the public inquiry.
