The existence of the email was first revealed by the Edmonton Journal, which accurately quoted the electronic exchange, a Conservative source said.

The email illustrates growing tensions between federal and provincial Tories in Alberta. The divisions were already obvious during the last provincial election in which many members of the Conservative Party of Canada favoured the Wildrose Party at the expense of Alison Redford’s Progressive Conservatives.

Mr. Kenney’s office refused to comment on the matter on Tuesday.

“We do not comment on private communications,” spokesman Alexis Pavlich said.

Still, opposition sources said the minister will be grilled on the incident during Question Period.

Conservatives, Liberals, Dippers all don't get along like choir boys and girls. I'm certain they've all been called worse things but weren't dumb enough to put it in an email.

Nope, this was posted for two reasons; Kenney himself is an a-hole AND it highlights the growing division between the Alberta PCs and the Federal Conservatives...but maybe it was expecting too much of you to figure that out.

Nope, this was posted for two reasons; Kenney himself is an a-hole AND it highlights the growing division between the Alberta PCs and the Federal Conservatives...but maybe it was expecting too much of you to figure that out.

Perhaps he's an asshole and certainly a tool for putting such words in an email, but let's face it boots, you're pretty consistent when it comes to posting anything paints the conservatives negatively.
