Back on topic, I don't have any patience at all for anyone attempting any of this 'sovereign citizen' bullshit that comes out of the US. If someone doesn't feel like they have to contribute to the general upkeep of society then fine. Just pull your kids out of the PUBLIC schools first and stay they hell off of the PUBLIC roads that the rest of us are paying for. And enjoy the heat from your wood furnance because we're shutting off the gas and electrical that are delivered to you on PUBLICALLY installed transmission lines. And you better have your own helicopter in the back yard to fly you to the US to see your private doctor when you get sick because you're no longer allowed to see any doctor in Canada in our PUBLIC health care system.

They can have all fun they want dying on the spearpoint of the dumbest libertarian philosophy ever dreamt up by the most delusion minds that ever existed. They are not going to get to have it both ways.

I don't know how you came up with this 'slant' T. I gather that she is having serious problems with CRA, ( as do/have many in small biz, myself included), but she doesn't quite know how to explain her situation.
I'll agree that she should be imparting a much better explanation, to which end, she might actually get some good advice as there is several small business owner/operators here on CKA.

Tax evasion is a no win situation if that is what the issue is. And the government of the day and the bureaucracy are two different issues.

People have rights of course that does not mean you have the right not to pay bills etc.As for going to the states there much harder on there citzens then canada is.I have no idea what did happen with the op i wish them luck i just hope its not a matter of not paying there taxes.

True. As far as I know Revenue Canada doesn't sent their own personal SWAT team after you the way the IRS has been known to down in the US. The only SWAT team I ever want to see involved in tax related disputes is the one I'd directly order to bust Wesley Snipes out of prison.

No but if you think its bad in canada in alot of cases its much worse in the states.Take tax invasion in canada its really not taken all that serious in most cases in the states your looking at serious jail time.

Bev, as other posters have pointed out in other topics, you do not have 'rights' in Canada. You have revocable privileges. And, apparently, yours have been revoked.

If you're serious about relocating to the USA as a tax refugee you may wish to check and see if that will allow you to avoid Canadian tax laws. It may not.

There's a whole cult around here calling themselves 'natural persons' who have this weird idea they don't have to pay tax or get a driver's license.
One by one their homes are being foreclosed and they're 'free' to live in a squat.
