No.

It seems like we're moving more to a five party state.

Prior to the latest polls I would say that we already are a two party system. The Conservatives and Liberals being the only realistic choice to lead the country. With these latest polls showing the NDP polling equal, or above, the Liberals I might have to alter my original line of thinking.

If, and this is a big if, the Conservatives ever get enough popularity to have consistent majorities, they will splinter immediately.

As previously stated, the only thing holding the 2 (3 really, but only 2 major) differing conservative factions is lust for power. If they achieve it, they will break apart and vie for the power to their specific conservative factions.

If anything, I could see our political system fracturing into 7-8 parties, with coalition governments becoming the norm.

Can anyone name any party other than Conservative or Liberal that have been elected to power in Canada?

Can anyone name any other party other than Republican or Democrat that's been elected to power in the States?

Maybe we're already in a two party system, very similar to our American neighbors.

Well, technically, Bordon had a Unionist government in the 13th (there were over 7 parties running with Labor getting a seat as well) and Meighen's NLC followed it up. Historically, at the federal level, we've had little variance, true, but provincially, that hasn't been the case (Soc Credit, UFO, UFA, NDP, PQ etc).

Americans recently have a two-party national result, but historically, they've had Federalists, "no-parties", Whigs, Free-Soilers, Progressives (who did get electoral college votes in the 20th century) all gain the executive or receive significant electoral support.
