At least the Bloc has truly represented their supporters.

When was the last referendum on sovereignty?

There's ridenrain's escape from answering any questions.......

No, the Bloc hasn’t had a referendum on sovereignty, and we haven’t gotten our triple E senate. I’d rather have a party with the sole mindedness of the Bloc representing me.

Word. I'd rather have to vote every year in another Canadian election than ever have to live through the adolescent hysterics, the 24-hour-per-day cable-news-cycle-of-Death, and hatemongering that the Americans keep putting themselves through.

And so none of us in Canada get the perfect results we desire from our Big Sister government anymore. Big bloody deal. It's probably in everyone's best interest anyway that no single side in politics is allowed to run up the score anymore. It's like Crash Davis said in "Bull Durham" anyway, no-hitters are only for fascists.

How ? Their motto is "Doing what's best for Quebec" yet they keep voting no, no, no to every bill even if it's for the the best interests of Quebec. The Bloc is only there to do what's best for THEM: attempting to make sure the federal system doesn't work so they can say "See! Canada doesn't work!"

Ben voyon donc Procu!

You know very well that the Bloc vote yes on some bill and no on other! And if it was not for them we would probably not be in Canada anymore! You can actually say that they make Canada work! PDT_Armataz_01_32

You see Procu the Bloc give an illusion of fair and safe representation to many in Québec. Without them we would have had a conservative government with a very divided and infective opposition.

The political system is working at its finest.

Why should 51% of the population impose its ideologies on the other 49%?

That goes without saying. In that light everyone is partisan. If everyone is partisan then by definition, no one is partisan. 51% is not "partisan". But whatever, so "Partisan ideologies". Ok...such as...?

EI reform? HST? These are ideologies?
