Conservative Party leader Stephen Harper has reached out to social conservatives in other religious and in all minority communities. True, the vicious strategy has produced only mixed results...And maybe that's his real strategy: to split minority communities politically, to peel away social conservatives from their minority community's bloc vote for the Liberal and NDP parties.

Why is that a 'vicious strategy'? That's what he's supposed to do, split voters off from the majority. That's how the game has worked since Athens.

Do the Liberals and NDP own the votes of minority communities? If so, when were they bought? And what were they paid for with?

Heaven forbid ethnic minority communities should be allowed to think for themselves.

The Sun

Of course, why else would you be there, if it wasn't for a tabloid newspaper written for subliterates who will believe anything they read.

Hey! Their comics are in colour everyday! And their sports coverage is the best! 8)

But, yes, indepth news and special reports are lacking in the Sun. :(

That's like saying people will get smarter if you just whack them over the head with enough books.

Not so. If you look at our news publications in Canada, a pro-Liberal party (alleged left-wing, but not always so) bias seems to be prevalent in most. While many criticize SUN media for its pro-Conservative (alleged right-wing, but not always so) bias, it's one of the few alternatives to everything else.

As much as we may or may not want to admit, interpretation is often as much a part of the news as the events themselves. As a result, a variety of interpretations is necessary in order to facilitate healthy debate.

..Also, the color comics and SUNshine girls kick ass.
