I thought the entire lifestyle was about rearguard actions.

Don't really care what consenting adults do. If they want to call it marriage or a union, whoopity doo doo. It doesn't affect me, my wife, or anyone else who chooses to be married in a religious ceremony. Outside the United Church, it is a purely civil ceremony. Even those UCC, who oppose it, are free not to perform the ceremony. There are alot more pressing concerns out there right now, like terrorism, child poverty, a shoddy education system, corrupt government officials and a criminal justice system that is pathetic.

The Sun's editorials are just as smart and relevant as the Star's. You just need to realize that other people have different views.

There are a lot of people out there who want to know what's going on in the world, but they don't want a complete analysis from economists, sociologists, politicians and spin doctors. They can get this from the tabloids. They also carry more local stories an lighter more up beat materials.

I would rather have a thourough analysis about a certain topic than some fluff piece that barely qualifies as news.

I also wouldn't mind the odd page 3 girl now and then either.
