While this is hardly big news for Canada or The US it is great news for me. NJ is one of the toughest staes to get a license in it costs a lot of money time and a hell of a lot of work. This is the State board of of Ophthalmic Dispensers (Optician).


I have long felt that the folks on CKA are largely my friends. We digagree, particulary when I say something stupid, but if I were to find any of you in a bar I would quite pleased to buy you a drink.

There have been times where I have a bit depressed but have felt reenergized after reading things on this site.

Who knows if Sara Palin get's elected President I may emigrate.

One of the guys at work was just telling me today about an online retailer that his sister got hers from. Supposedly, they're 1/5th the cost we pay at the optometrist. I'm gonna be investigating it....

I guess, based on the gouging rate, I shouldn't complain. I got 2 pair bifocals/frames for $300.00. Got in on the last day of a special!

Got them at Sears, Kingsway. Eye test at Larsen Optical on the 2nd floor. Got to pick from all frames, both safetied and scratch coated, and one pair tinted.

Actually I need a good typing course, but I always find an excellent excuse for avoiding actually takeing one.
