I've said before I'm pissed that my bank now charges a percentage to deposit cash. They charge a flat fee to deposit cheques. They ding on debit transactions. They scoop a percentage on charge cards. They're charging a defacto TAX. Private corporations are taxing you. If that doen't constitute taxation without representation, I don't know what the hell does. The percentage on cash is probably illega, but some working shmuck is gonna have to pay the whole legal fee to find out, the gov't won't. I seem to be the only one even mentioning it. The world is fucked up when the people marching against crap like that are painted as the the assholes.

Fight it the Capitalist way: buy bank shares and profit from the "taxation" of others.

Wow, something I can agree with at last. Bank stocks pay good dividends.

Good solution. Jefferson, Jackson, Young, Franklin et al, you just needed to move to London and get a Lordship. Then you'd be enfranchised and to hell with the rest of 'em. The banks are adding to inflation and devaluing the coin of the realm. See those signs in the border malls, Canadian money accepted at par? Too bad some of the banks inside Canada won't. Don't tell me there's no law that banks in Canada can't arbitrarily value what the Bank of Canada prints at whatever they wish. They're saying a dollar here is worth 97c. Charge them. The percentage is the sore point. Charge a flat $1.50 like for depositing cheques.
