This is a little life rule but somehow parents don't teach it always. I was always ok, did my home work at school, but my parents didn't ariculate this little rule. So like I was not good at English and French and didn't work on it. So, fine. However its a problem in society. We live in a society that rewards skilled and educated people but the working class kids are a little naive about that's the way it is. The left wing radicles completely ignor the issue that high pay comes with achievement. Moreover as I'm older now I find that even your personality depends on this little rule. It's worth being frank about. Any takes on that?

I think (from my european point of view) people were spoiled in the '90's.
People fresh from college could get a job with a 6 figure pay and a company car. Not so much anymore, but adjusting is hard.

Mind you, I was going through some job ads in Holland, just to see what the difference is with here. Well, a check out girl makes 12 euro/hr ($18) gets 24 vacation days off (paid) and 19.5 extra paid days off. Sick days are fully paid for, education is provided.

Hi Brenda. I was interested to read your bit about checkout persons in Holland. I call myself a jobs activist and like these bits of information. I work the wage disparity issue in Canada and it's popular to do so. Thanks.

Add it to the 'shouldn't generalize' life rule.

Work is important and merit should be earned. Rewards are too often given for mediocrity, effort and self-esteem. Sometimes, just sometimes, the best should be recognized as losing, just as winning, is a component of life worth learning.
