Anywho, the CBC is a centralist government tool whose programming is approaching 90% eastern Canadian content and is often misused as a tool of propaganda. Furthermore, the CBC cannot claim to be unbiased as its top 10 executives all contributed significantly to the Libranos (info found at Fraser Institute).

Because the CBC is not representative of the nation, is a tremendous drain of taxpayer dollars, unfairly competes with radio/TV stations who must seek commercial sponsors, is free of CRTC critiques and is oft overtly supportive of the ruling lieberals in a manner that insults those who do not support them, why should it not be torn down first chance?

Why do we need them anyway? This is not 1930s Canada where Ont/Que were the center and the rest of the nation required a medium connection to know how to think and act. We have other numerous other mediums and plenty of variety within them.

By the way, Global is owned by the Aspers who are directors of the Federal Lieberals and are the greatest proponents of censorship.

The CBC , very, very occasionally does something well. But the things they do wrong are so horrendous its not funny. The union better smarten up or they will go the way of Stelco. 18000 guys down to 1800 and in receivership last year.
