Hmmm. This gave me an epiphany. The reason that leftists cuddle up to the radical islamists is because they share a common worldview.

The leftists believe that anyone who doesn't agree with them is outside of society and should be targeted for mockery and derision.

The muslims believe that anyone who doesn't agree with them is outside of society and should be targeted for discrimination and even death.

Both the leftists and muslims have no wiggle room for compromise in their worldviews. They simply cannot conceive of why someone would not go along with them because, after all (Karl Marx/Muhammed) is the Light of the World and only the insane would disagree!

The recession and stimulous packages are 2 different things. Although a feel good knee jerk reaction to a recession, there is no proof that stimulous spending does much anyway. Since the 3 stooges were threatening to bring down the government, Harper was forced to spend Billions. The same billions that you are complaining about right now.

Either way, you are derailing the thread. The point is that the Liberals are insulting millions of Canadians with their blatant arrogance and sense of entitlements. They need to be decimated in the next election and find themselves a Canadian leader, not a pro war, torture promoting American.

Now, if it was a Conservative majority government, I'd agree. But concessions will be made by the party in power to the opposition to stay in power.
