Despite serious warnings about the dangers of using up what is left of our hydro-carbons we are going to make big bucks removing our north country's ability to be self sufficient.

I understand that there is an argument that you have to have money to figure out how to replace oil and gas, but spending the money like a bunch of lottery winners doesn't make sense to me.
