"You should move to the U.S, I hear their whole foreign policy is based on "Realism"."
Why do you seem to think that people who don't share your view should leave Canada? Aren't we all allowed to have our opinions even if they run contrary to the current PC pap, or would you like to see all who have a view different than yours silenced, nein? When I was home this past fall and winter, Canada was still a democracy and I hope it can stay that way.

I meant that as a sarcastic suggestion, sorry you feel inclined about it. My view? tell me, what is "My" view as you so say? Basically what I meant was that your brand of realism is more inclined towards the U.S. Nuff said.

I don't think my realism is "American". It's a form of realism that exists everywhere. There are just as many Americans who feel the way that many Canadians do, that the American administration's approach in the ME is flawed. I for one, think that it needs to be re evaluated by the Bush administration and the rest of the world. Total disengagement is wrong because the terrorists view restaint as weakness and that would only throw fuel on their fire.

Ok, but you responded with the intital clause of what "My" view was, was that just an attempt to bait me or that you know more than me? Whatever the case may be, don't assume you know peoples views without proper assumptions please. Morgenthau's fourteen points, Henry Kissenger and the like would interest you more.

Here we go again, if you don't subscribe to the socialist-left-wing point of view, then you aren't Canadian. It is pretty god damn arrogant to say things like that, last time I looked it was still a free country and it takes whole lotta different people to make OUR country great, not just you. Sarcastic? I think not. I see that garbage all the time on this board.
As for those 2 articles... Woopdy frickin doo. I doubt most canadians have the MCC site bookmarked. The problem I have is there is nary a peep from muslims anywhere when muslim terrorists do something like this. No protests, no marches, just silence. You may not like it Avro but to me those articles ring hollow . A couple of articles do not a movement make.

Well, whether you "get" the whole picture or not I don't care. Sarcastic? Yes it was. Pretty god damn arrogant of yourself to assume too much. Your right, I see too much "garbage" so you say on this forum, your a great contributer. Make sure you understand the picture instead of rushing in guns blazing. I'm not a socialist left-winger....or wait, did you just assume that?

Guns blazing? Hardly I have just over 400 posts on this board, you have 2655, so who's the great contributor? Other than your sarcasm I wasn't refering only to you. That was kinda my point:roll: , I see that crap all the time from many people, understand? And the ones that say things like that are usually socialist-left-wing types. Sorry if I lumped you in with them, my bad

Whether it was your point or not, it seemed as though you were soley speaking on my part. I think the gist of this matter is that the most common thought process of realism is IN the U.S.of A. Now, I am well aware that people are free to think like that and talk like that, however given the Canadian political spectrum at this time, it is hardly relevant as of now. Maybe when Harper is elected some more "Realists" may come out and speak their peace in more form. Shepards dog proceeded to tell "me" what my views were in accordance with his, which in my books is arrogance which you described.

"You should move to the U.S, I hear their whole foreign policy is based on "Realism"."
My profession has required that I live in many places in Asia and Africa that share my ideas of "realism". I am thankful that Canada doesn't have to experience this "realism". How is it arrogant to point out that you feel I should live somewhere else because I have an opinion, based on real life experiences, that runs contrary to the PC pap I see typed out? If you're going to be sarcastic, don't worry it won't hurt my feelings . Just be honest enough to admit it. Unless, of course you were merely suggesting a route you plan to take because you share more in common with the Bush Administation's policies. In that case, thanks for the advice, but I prefer Canadian beer.

When I read the title of this thread, I was thinking MCC was meaning Marylebone Cricket Club!
