They probably won't be the exact same aircraft. Although we are a friendly country, we will probably be getting a version that doesn't have all the top secret electronics. The US has military technology that is illegal to export no matter what. We will likely be getting a hopped up exportable version. The US sold boat loads of F-16s around the world but they didn't come with all the bells and whistles.

How about a squadron of stealth drones with a supply of tv bombs. The drones can be controlled by satelite so you do need a tv uplink. Price, a couple hundreds of millions. This is instead of the space age F35 targeting 3rd rate armies somewhere.
