Her riding is Scarborough—Rouge River. She may have been a "long shot" candidate, the riding was solidly Liberal from its inception in 1988 up until the last election.

Previously the NDP did no better than a third place finish.

She may be cute and that's why some idiots voted for her but the fact remains that she's another rocket scientist politician who shouldn't be allowed to open her mouth and prove the old adage about keeping quiet and being thought a fool true.

And to think if all the guys who thought she's cute vote for her again, she'll be able to collect a pension from the tax money those morons are gonna be paying for the rest of their lives.

Oh well maybe she can afford to take a class in Canadiana when she retires.

Probably working for Canadian Tamil Congress so the next boatload can get settled in with no problems like immigration hearings or nasty Government Officials.

My guess is that had she been in any riding that didn't have a large group of Tamil expats she'd still be trying to figure out how to spell Canada instead of helping to run it
