Other than that, it was not about periods, but about dodging, posting opinions as fact, and calling people names. That you thought it was about the use of periods (of which I have to admit, not using them annoys the crap out of me) shows how much attention you paid

The vast majority of Americans (about 85%) consider Great Britain their closest ally. The last poll I saw Canada was 4th or 5th.
