It turns out the HST Ontario is introducing includes tax credits and tax cuts to make it revenue neutral.

The idea that the saving will produce 600,000 new jobs seems ludicrouse to me and based on idea of some sort of multiplier in investment by business.

I agree. I'd like to see the model that predicted this outcome. Jobs are not created by cutting costs, they're created by increasing revenues.

Revenue neutral my rear. I'm willing to bet my first born that when this comes into effect, I will be paying more in the HST increase than I will get back in tax cuts.

Dalton is forever digging deeper into the pockets of Ontarians.
