Just to be sure that a picture from another protest somewhere else in the world didn't really matter, here's something that happened at the G20 protest - these people were bullied and harassed by police for several minutes, presumably for doing nothing more than standing on the sidewalk and holding some signs. If it were me, I would not have moved.

I don't know, she's just kind of standing there unarmed with a cop yelling and pointing a gun at her. Kind of retarded. What did she expect?

I should hire myself as a protest general. I'd do a way better job than whoever organizes these things now. First off and I'd set it up so it was the anarchists and the cops having a showdown. Right now the anarchists run in, destroy a bunch of stuff, throw thigns at the cops and then run away, just in time for the gormless protestors walk right into a pile of pissed off cops.

Protest tactics haven't really changed since the 60s, whereas the cops response has constantly evolved.
