I keep an eye on people's job. I notice Brenda came here from Holland. She reports that here she's been offered something like $8 an hour for a managers job while back in Holland cashiers are now making $15, some such. So that's what immigration from a Western country to Canada can come to these days.

I know what you mean Bruce. I think one of the worst disasters of this century is the loss of the stay at home parent.

It's really hard for people to raise kids now that the income gap between the high income brackets and the lower ones is starting to increase. With Both parents having to work to maintain what one parent could do before our kids are not being raised with the same care and attention they used to.

It WILL have some dire consequences in the future.
