Jean Charest was called the "Last Hope" for Federalists in Quebec, when he went on the Provincial Scene.
It seems that he win his war.
Maybe should he return to Ottawa, and kick some Cons asses?

I think that is a myth.. it was a rumour that he worked for the federal libs in the 1970 elections, but that is not true.

Not with the Liberals - but as a Federal MP. I just enjoy the 'full circle' of it all.

Ya, well I always felt there was more to Bouchard. But it will be interesting to see where he goes with this. The PQ is too far out there for most people.

He was the chief of the PC (Progressive Conservative party of Canada) after Campbell.

But talking of Bouchard... he was Premier for some years and did all the contrary he now wants: He froze University, electricity fees. He created the Childcare and Meds Insurance systems (two "holes-without-bottom" system we are stuck with). Pushed a lot of nurses out of the system instead of cutting the "pen-pushers".
Now he's 71yo and come out once every year to slap everyone. Screw him.
